If you have just been offered a new job, congratulations are in order. Interview processes and tough and you’ve done well to get so far. However, you do need to consider very seriously whether or not to accept the new role you have been offered. Make sure the money is right. Everyone knows how much they need to earn, so if it is not enough, go with your head and not your heart. Don’t accept a lower wage than you are worth.

Check the benefits package as well. There may be good bonuses like private health care or a company car. This could make up for a slightly lower wage than expected, depending on your priorities. Ask about pension contributions and what the company will contribute.
